My professional Skill
Some tricks of the trade:
Professional Experience
In my professional career, I’ve worked in Maryland, D.C., and Las Vegas. My vast experience in industries spanning events & technology, entertainment & hospitality, and chemicals & materials makes me a well-rounded individual ready to take on any challenge I cross. I’ve had the chance to work at massive corporations, mid-sized companies, and boundary-pushing startups, giving me a unique perspective of marketing in an ever-changing world.
My mantra: A good work ethic and a positive attitude are the two necessities for success. With my love of learning and unrelenting drive, I’m confident that I can be an asset to any team looking to revamp their marketing strategy.

With startups, there is always work that needs to be done. Working for Goodshuffle Pro has strengthened my skills in management and organization, copywriting, SEO/SMM, and other aspects of digital and direct marketing.
TOUR GUIDE, UNIVERSITY OF MD
Maryland Images is the campus tour guide organization at UMD. As a proud Terp, I’m passionate about getting to share my love of UMD with others!
As a tour guide, I:
Promote the University of Maryland to prospective students each week through public speaking and interpersonal skills
Coordinate with 150+ tour guides to work out scheduling, Terp for a Days, and special events
As Images’ Social & Recruitment Committee Head, I:
Led all Facebook and Instagram marketing efforts to recruit a record-breaking number of applicants in the first few weeks of the semester.
Worked with my co-chair to plan and execute a variety of engaging social activities that included outings to pick pumpkins and play laser tag, a wing night, and an ice cream social. This led to bonding as an organization and an increase in morale.
Learned tenacity, time management, and digital marketing skills that have stuck with me throughout my professional career
MARKETING INTERN, MGM RESORTS INTERNATIONAL
As a marketing intern in the Hospitality Internship Program (HIP) who joined the MGM Grand team during MGM 2020, a corporate restructuring, I came into the company at a chaotic time, and joined a team that consisted of just the director and me at one of the largest resorts in the world. This meant my tasks stretched far beyond the typical “intern activities” and included:
Coordinating with various departments and the multimedia team on and off property to deploy creative and keep the website up to date for the 4 main residency groups and 15+ other groups at a high speed
Updating the master signage document with all the current creative on property in order to have a holistic picture of our offerings
Attending meetings and worked with multiple departments to ensure every request was satisfied and we represented MGM Grand in the best light
Shadowing other departments within hospitality to gain a better understanding of the industry, in which I learned about hotel operations, food and beverage, special events, and public relations
Throughout my time with MGM, I learned about tenacity, rising to the occasion, customer service, and organization + management skills. I also had the opportunity to network with various professionals and learn their stories. There was a huge learning curve, but I’m proud of the work I did and the knowledge I gained, and am looking forward to bringing the skills I acquired to any position I’m in.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT INTERN, W. R. GRACE
W. R. Grace is a specialty chemicals and materials firm that’s built on a foundation of talent, technology, and trust to produce quality products for its partners.
As a product management intern, I worked at the global headquarters in Columbia, MD for two main projects:
1) The implementation of a hierarchy system for Grace’s ~4,000 customers in 5 global regions in SAP and Salesforce
2) The creation of a new hierarchy system for product identification codes of 400+ products in SAP
Both of these projects required lots of research, communication with various employees to determine the most beneficial solution, and capabilities in Excel and SAP. Ultimately, the hierarchies were implemented and resulted in cleaner data, increased organization, and streamlined processes.
I was also able to conduct a pricing analysis of Latin American products and companies to produce recommendations that uncovered multiple areas of improvement for sales processes.
Throughout the internship, I worked in a team to devise potential AI solutions for W. R. Grace to implement in plants and the supply chain. We recommended robotic process automation (RPA) and detailed ways W. R. Grace could implement and benefit.
EVENT SUPPORT, ADELE H. STAMP STUDENT UNION
The Adele H. Stamp Student Union is the social center of campus at UMD, providing students and staff with a safe and inviting atmosphere for engagement, learning, multiculturalism, and citizenship. The event support department is vital in setting up and breaking down hundreds of events each week.
As a member of the event support team, I organize and assemble multiple events per week while communicating with other branches of the Stamp to ensure client satisfaction. I also coordinate within the 45-person team to assist clients and represent University of Maryland.
I’ve learned about customer service and client experience through my time with event support, as well as the importance of a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
